A small teaser of what I’ve been working on: game HUD + lots of info.
I’ll be releasing this build (0.1.2) on itch.io tomorrow, when I’m done with the HUD.
(Play the last released build here)
Also preparing to start adding a new area!
Hint: It won’t be a spaceship.

Got a question? Ask me anything :)

Today I’ve reworked the combat turn system as per suggestion on itch.io.
I’m also currently designing the game HUD as you can see on the image above.
If you like my work, consider buying me a coffee :)
Feel free to ask me anything!
Resuming work on the tileset after spending the day adding new stuff to the combat system.
(spoiler alert: you can heal now)
I’m tempted to release a first playable build on itch.io in the next couple of days, although you can’t actually do much right now…
Anyways, if you enjoy my work, consider buying me a coffee.
Also, feel free to ask me anything!

What came first, the larvas or the larva eggs? o.O
(Bonus content: Find the rebel wall sprite.)

On the last few days I’ve been addicted to this game called Quest Run. Ever heard of it?

Bought it on steam and was surprised by it’s really simple concept. But it’s HARD as hell… I’ve only won 2 dungeons so far and have 3 others unlocked but I find them really difficult… You need a bit of luck to win but it’s mostly about strategy, switching the characters at the right time and knowing what traits to level up, etc…
It’s a really nice indie game.
You can check it out on steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/286120/
You know when you wake up and you can’t look directly at the window ‘cause your eyes aren’t accustomed to the light? Well that happens to me with my computer - when I wake up I have to wait a few minutes before I can look at the screen directly without hurting my eyes! That’s because I had the brightness set to 90 (out of 100).
I changed it to 50 now. Not that I didn’t like it that way, but I realized that most monitors have much less brightness… wich means that everything I do in this computer will look way too dark for others.
So I changed the menus according to that: added some contrast to both the background and the text. And after that I couldn’t resist and had to change some buttons and parts of the layout.
Gave me tons of work but I think it was worth it.
Enough with the design changes though… I have to keep coding!
I’ll post the updated menus later.
